Our Response to COVID-19

Update: 5/7/2020

Today we were informed that a resident who had recently been hospitalized has now tested positive for COVID 19.  This resident currently is not at Villa Raffaella. 

As you are aware, resident safety is our top priority. We are doing everything we can to ensure we prevent the introduction or spread of COVID-19 within Villa Raffaella. Steps taken included staying in close communication with local and state health officials to ensure we have implemented all guidelines both required and advisory. Screening all staff at the beginning of each shift for any signs or symptoms of the virus, as well as screening all residents multiple times per day for signs or symptoms.  Essential medical service personnel who must enter the facility to perform required diagnostic testing are also screened for signs or symptoms before entering the building.  Our staff adhere to infection control procedures, utilize PPE, and undergo continuous training for safety. Please know that we are strictly adhering to all directions from the local and state health department.

We know this is a difficult time for everyone and that this news may be stressful, but please be assured that we are steadfast in our dedication to providing our residents with quality care in a loving and spiritually supportive environment.
